SPREAD Playlist -- Hamson Rocks

I have built a playlist for every film I have worked on now (The END of FUN, Vengeance Turns, SPREAD, Succubus Next Door, and even the vertical series KARMA MECHANIC). Each time, I share it with my cast and crew just in case they want to know where my head has been as I write the words we are shooting and bringing to life together.

During the shoot for SPREAD: Pigs to Slaughter, some of these songs — particularly “United States of Whatever” and “Kids in America” were on the tip of some of our tongues the entire week. It would not be unusual to be walking back from some location only to hear someone bust start belting out one of these or other songs— and yeah, it was usually me — the oldest and most exhausted person in the whole motley crew.
